Megan’s vision of her wedding day was a picturesque rustic farm adorned with twinkling fairy lights, evoking memories of fireflies and warm summer nights. And her dream came true! It was one of those idyllic breezy summer days when you could spend the entire day outside.

The festivities began as Megan and her attendants prepared for the occasion in the wedding suite at Nickajack Farms. She opted for a ballgown-style dress embellished with layers of tulle, a touch of sparkle, and delicate lace, complemented by her grandmother’s cherished pearls for a timeless touch. Her chosen wedding palette showcased earthy reds, shimmering gold, and vibrant teal green, accentuated by the cheerful presence of sunflowers. The bridesmaids gracefully donned flowing gowns in shades of rust red and gold, while Megan and her bridesmaids carried bouquets adorned with sunflowers and delicate baby’s breath.

Nate and his groomsmen added teal green accents to their suits, perfectly complemented by sunflower boutonnieres. As a lover of sneakers, Nate was thrilled to sport a special pair of black Nike shoes on his wedding day.

As a unique and personal touch, Nathan and Megan exchanged their vows privately before the ceremony. The intimate moments they shared under the perfect summer sky, reciting their heartfelt vows, became their favorite memories of the day. To conclude the ceremony, they embraced an unconventional tradition—a celebratory shot of tequila—to transition from the solemnity of the ceremony to the joyous reception.

The ballroom at Nickajack transformed into a magical space, with twinkling lights and sunflowers adorning every corner. Each table showcased white bells handprinted with the couple’s initials and wedding date, adding a whimsical touch to the ambiance. To surprise their guests, Megan decided to unveil a brand new haircut. While her friends and family enjoyed cocktail hour, Megan stole away for a daring transformation, bidding farewell to over a foot of her luscious locks.

Megan and Nathan along with their guests, took advantage of the perfect summer evening and enjoyed drinks, photos and corn hole on the patio outside the ballroom. Cupcakes and a delicious cookie table finished off the night with a sweet touch. The evening was a perfect way to end a perfect day. Megan and Nathan and their guests danced the night away, making memories that will last a lifetime.
